We are glad you are here. Here are answers to commonly asked questions.
What should I expect when I come to Trinity?
Where can I park?
Parking is plentiful in Trinity’s parking lot which leads into our inviting main entrance. Directions to church at bottom of page.
What should I wear?
People tend to dress casually. Khaki’s, polo shirts and sweaters are normal. Some people wear suits. Some wear jeans.
What happens when I enter the building on Sunday morning?
Upon entering the building, visitors and members alike are put at ease by the sound of running water in the baptismal font.
Ushers, greeters and members are glad to welcome you and facilitate your visit.
Coffee is available between worship services.
Worship services themselves are dynamic and meaningful. Expect Scripture readings, prayers, a relevant message and Holy Communion at each worship service.
Over the Summer (from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend) we have two worship services.
On Sunday we worship at 9:00 a.m. employing a delightful variety of worship styles depending on the week.
On Wednesday evenings we worship at 6:30 p.m. with a more relaxed, end-of-the-day atmosphere. This service is perfect for families or individuals that work or vacation on weekends.
During the school year we offer three worship services.
The Sunday 8:15 am worship service is the most traditional. Our adult choir sings regularly during the school year.
The Sunday 10:30 am “Jubilee” service tends to have a more contemporary flair. Trinity’s worship band helps lead worship every other week.
Worship on Wednesday happens at 6:15 pm in the evening. It is the most casual of the worship services and leads directly into our extraordinary Youth on Wednesday Middle School program.
What about children?
Children are a big part of our life here at Trinity. We want our kids to know that they are welcome in God’s house, so children are welcome and encouraged to come to worship with their families. During the summer months we offer a program called Rainbow Club for those children who wish to go to the red Sunday School classroom after the children's sermon and do a craft which relates to the theme of the day in worship.
Faith Development
Sunday School begins on September 12, 2010 with our Friendship Fair at 9:30 a.m. Friendship Fair consists of games, activities, face painting and a jumpy house for children, along with an opportunity to register and meet teachers for parents. Sunday School is offered for children age 3 through 5th grade. Our dedicated staff is committed not only to helping students grow in faith and connect with Jesus Christ, but to have fun doing it. The Sunday School puts on a Christmas program in December, and several times a year the kids do hands-on service projects!
Also during the School year Youth on Wednesday (YOW) begins at 7:15 pm on Wednesday evenings for grades 6-8. We follow the highly regarded Faith Inkubator curriculum. Our dedicated adult leaders are committed to making class sessions down to earth, relevant, engaging and fun. Students are encouraged to learn and grow in faith through activities, reading, discussion, games, and prayer. The eighth grade year of YOW serves as Confirmation Class.
The Bethel Bible Series is for adults. It is a two year Bible overview course that traces the faith history of God’s people from Genesis through Revelation. People who complete the Bethel Series gain a working knowledge of Scripture and a new understanding of themselves as part of God’s work in the world. We started a class in 2009. The next class is scheduled to start in the fall of 2011.
Shorter Adult Studies are offered periodically throughout the year. Please check the calendar or call the church office to find out what is happening now!
