Blessing of the Backpacks

What: At the beginning of the school year, we invite our youth to bring their backpacks to church for a special blessing of the backpacks and to kick-off the new school year.
When: Sunday, August 28, 2011 and Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at all services
Cost: Free

Friendship Fair

What: Friendship Fair is our kick-off event for the new Sunday School year. Children are encouraged to bring their friends to Trinity’s Friendship Fair for an hour of fun and games.
When: Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
Cost: Free

3rd Grade Bibles

What: Every year we present our 3rd grade students with a special Bible. These bibles have been marked up by the congregation with their favorite passages or a little note of faith. We hope these special messages intrigue the students to learn more about their Bibles and are encouraged to find some of their own favorite verses!
When: Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the 10:30 a.m. Jubilee service
Cost: Free for 3rd graders. If student is not enrolled in Sunday School, kindly let us know that s/he is coming so that we can have a Bible for him/her.

Christmas Program

What: Join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus at Trinity’s annual Sunday School Christmas program. The program is put on by our youngest group of 3-4 year olds up to our 5th grades. It is always a delight to see.
When: Presentations are Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the 10:30 a.m. Jubilee service. Rehearsals begin early November.
Cost: Free

Trinity Talent Showcase

What: A one-night extravaganza of entertainment good for the whole family. Talent exhibitors range from 4-years-old to 84-years-old, from novices to experienced performers. There are refreshments and silent/live auction at intermission.
When: March 2, 2012. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Show starts at 6:00 p.m. Register to perform or donate items for auction beginning in January.
Cost: Free (Or, as much as you bid for auction items. Bid triumphantly!)

First Communion/Training

What: A four-week First Communion Training session is offered for any 5th grader that is interested in receiving communion. This is an exciting day for our young members. Encourage your friends, family and child’s sponsors to attend this special day. If you have not received First Communion and would like to do so, please contact Pastor Mark to make arrangements.
When: Training runs on Sundays from 9:30 a.m. – 10:20 a.m. from March 4, 2012 through March 25, 2012. First Communion will be held at 10:30 a.m. on March 25, 2012.
Cost: Free
