Easter at Trinity

saltando Ash Wednesday & the Lenten Season
Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent & the time to repent of those things that separate us from God. To make that easier, Trinity offers our Wednesday worship service during Lent as a way to draw closer to Him in a meaningful way.
Each year, Trinity plans special events for Holy Week. We hand out palms on Palm Sunday, experience the last meal with The Living Last Supper and Sample the Seder, and remember the somber events of Good Friday through our Shadow Drama or Tenebrae worship service.
Celebrate the good news with Trinity on Easter morning! Trinity goes all out to rejoice in Jesus’ resurrection with special music, Easter breakfast, and balloons!
Palm Sunday: March 29, 2026
Worship Times: 8:15 & 10:30 a.m.
Palms will be handed out in the Gathering Space!
Palm Sunday marks the first day of Holy Week. Palm Sunday commemorates Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Palm branches were waved to greet and honor Jesus as he entered the city.
Maundy Thursday: April 2, 2026
Sample the Seder: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Communion Service at 7:00 p.m.
An opportunity to get a taste of traditional Passover foods. It is offered so you can experience elements of the meal Jesus and his disciples ate on the night he washed his disciples’ feet, instituted Holy Communion, and was arrested in Gethsemane.
The Seder is traditionally held on the anniversary of God miraculously bringing the children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt more than 3,000 years ago. In addition to remembering the Exodus, it is a celebration of freedom and a demonstration of solidarity with all who are oppressed.
An actual Seder meal “is a marathon feast that includes reading, drinking wine, telling stories, eating special foods, and singing.” Sample the Seder will be a bit different. Participants will be “sampling” parts of the Seder to get a feel of what the true dinner might be like and learn a little about each element of the meal.
Join us at 7:00 p.m. for a short Communion service. Enjoy the samples before or after this service.
Good Friday: April 3, 2026
Shadow Drama: 8:00 p.m.
Eight living tableaus cast in shadow representing moments on Jesus’ way to the crucifixion.
The faces of the actors are never seen, but their silhouettes represent moments on Jesus’ way to the crucifixion. As the congregation ponders the stark, meaningful scenes, the readings, meditations, and music help us appreciate the sacrifice of Jesus and the love of God that overcame death for our salvation.

Easter Sunday and every Sunday, you are welcome here!
We would love to have you and your family join us for Easter Sunday!
Our worship on Easter is joyful, welcoming, and full of celebration. Though we may have more special music this day or have decorated especially for the season, our Easter worship services are very much in the same spirit as our weekly services. Dress for all of our services varies from casual to formal – jeans and suits are both very common. Children, friends, and neighbors are all welcome to join you!
